We returned to the Tsukiji Fish Markets for some sushi breakfast and enjoy Tokyo Street Food. Tsukiji Outer Market comprises of a combination of retail and food stalls. Here you can find the freshest seafood and is the best place to enjoy a sushi breakfast or lunch.

Funnily enough our first meal at Tsukiji Market was not seafood. It was at Kitsuneya which is known for their Horumon bowls - Horumon typically refers to organ meat or offal. Since we aren't huge fans of offal we opted for the Gyudon (Beef Bowl - ¥680) instead with an additional onsen tamago. Other foods we tried at the fish market include melt-in-your-mouth Otoro (fatty tuna) and Salmon Bowl (at Maguroya Kurogin), Tamagoyaki, Oysters, Mochi and Cremia soft serve. There was so much to eat there, so definitely come early and on an empty stomach!

Note: The Tsukiji Inner (Wholesale) Market closed on October 6th 2018 and has relocated to Toyosu and reopened as Toyosu. The outer market will remain in business. We are excited to visit the new Toyosu market on our next trip to Tokyo.
