A Taste of Japan #13 - Miraikan and Odaiba, Tokyo Miraikan is a science museum in Odaiba, Tokyo. It's one of my favourite museums. It's also known as The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. Odaiba is a newer part of Tokyo on an artificial island created through land reclamation in Tokyo Bay. It includes Aqua City Odaiba (a mall), Venus Forte (another mall), Miraikan, the Fuji TV Headquarters, and Tokyo Big Site convention centre. Miraikan is a science museum that contains robotics (including Asimo), a mockup of a module from the International Space Station, laboratories to take classes in, and more. In this video, there was a special exhibit about information that was fascinating. It was interactive and when you were finished doing all the tasks, it created a song based on your answers. The full song is in this video. Also, we checked out the Gundam statue and the Fuji TV Headquarters.
