Our journey in Mie continues. After a long day of traveling, we were starving and decided to eat some Matsusaka (Matsuzaka? Still not sure how to spell it!) at a restaurant called Isshoubin. It was amazing! I am drooling now just writing about it. In comparison to Kobe beef, it was fattier and a little cheaper (It could just be because of the restaurants I chose). I also ate them in 2 different ways. I ate the Kobe beef in a lunch set that was prepared by the chef and I ate the Matsusaka beef Yakiniku style (Japanese bbq). In terms of the beef itself, I cannot choose. I think both were absolutely delicious in their own way. However, it terms of ways t eat it, I definitely recommend to eat it Yakiniku style as you get more value for your money and get to taste different cuts of the meat opposed to just one when eating it in a lunch set.
