Story I didn't tell: We TOTALLY got on the wrong Shinkansen going to Yokohama! Thankfully someone spoke English as we awkwardly compared tickets with this old man who we thought was sitting in our seat... she kindly explained we got on the wrong train(faster and more expensive) but thankfully were headed in the right direction! So we just stayed in between cars near the bathrooms for 40 minutes till the next stop when we could get on the right train, pffft!
