Located around 60 to 70km away from Tokyo and close to the Izu peninsula, Odawara Castle is a small, yet beautiful castle and maybe the only one worth visiting around Tokyo. But what most people do not know is that during the cherry blossom period, Odawara Castle is by far one of the best Sakura spots around! Better still, go and find the playground behind the castle to get some stunning views of the castle’s main tower surrounded by some gorgeous fluffy sakuras!!!!

Français 🇫🇷 Situé à une soixantaine de kilomètres de la capitale, et proche de la péninsule d’Izu, le château d’Odawara est un magnifique petit château, et certainement un de ceux qu’il est impératif de visiter aux alentours de Tokyo. Mais ce que la plupart des gens ne savent pas, c’est que ce château est l’un des meilleurs endroits où apprécier la floraison des cerisiers blancs (Sakura) ! Pour aller encore plus loin, rendez vous sur le terrain de jeu derrière le château afin de capturer des vues uniques de la tour principale cernée par des sakuras bien fournis !!!
